Update.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I thought I would let you all know why I have been absent for the past couple of days.

1. I am trying a new computer out. It isn't really that new actually but I have yet to use it for blogging. I am only using this computer because there was an issue with the other computer and I don't want to risk anything.

2. All of my pictures are on the other computer and I can't transfer the pictures from that computer to this computer.

3. I might be getting a job here  soon so that might be a little set back. But that will help me with recent issues with money here. I am going to be happy to be bringing in whatever money I will make.My job will most likely be a babysitting job but it is a job and I don't care that some people will tell me that it isn't a job.

So the challenge will probably be  postponed indefinitely, I hate doing that because once I set my sights to doing something I try my hardest to get it done. Plus for the other couple of days I have had some really nails planned out. I am sorry that you won't be able to see them.

As for another thing, I plan on getting some fauxnad from Sally's within the next couple of days so maybe I will post about them here. I know I will do a haul and a review but I think I want to do an experiment with them too. Any suggestions for good nail polishes for stamping? If you can let me know in the comments below.

Any other information that I need to know please just tell me, thanks.

Enjoy yourself

31 Day Challenge Day 27

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I actually do my own artwork but I think that would be cheating if I were to do my own artwork for today. I did Ed Hardy artwork inspired nails for today. I hate how it came out. I was going for the roses that Ed Hardy is so famous for.
I used Sally Girl Curfew and then I actually used a rub on tattoo for the design. But what really sucked is that you can barely see it here. The roses actually blended in with the background because it was almost the identical color.
I am sorry that it sucks so badly. Oh well what can I do?

32 Day Challenge Day 26

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I am nearing the end of this challenge. I know I did animal print earlier in this but I seriously love zebra print. This one is different because of the way I did it. I left the polish matte like it is. I don't really need it to last since this was only one day.

I used a really small brush and drew tiny "zebra" stripes with black acrylic paint. I used  China Glaze's Turned Up Turquoise. I did a blog post earlier this year you can find it here.

I hope you like this. I know I like it better than the actual animal print post that I did in the first place.

31 Day Challenge Day 25

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Today is inspired by fashion. I am not really into fashion too much but I know a little about it, I am not going to say I am good with it though. I saw a couple of people doing plaid nails and a tutorial on youtube with Burberry nails. I kind of went off of that.

I used OPI's A-Taupe The Space Needle. Then I added stripes of white and black acrylic paint. Finally I added striped of Forever Young by Essie.

Very simple but kind of cute. I might try this again when the challenge is done, I see it as being a hit.

Pam's Christmas Wishlist.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

*Note by posting this I am not asking for hand outs or pleads. I love reading or watching others  wishlist posts for a certain Holiday or event. Some of these things I could live without but I just like the idea of having them
Money- I know this makes a gift really impersonal but if I receive money I can ensure that my gift is well planned out. I actually ask for this every year from my family. It is nothing against them I just CAN'T find anything that I want from them at that certain time. With the money I can get the following things without any trouble.
  1. A new cellphone, mine is starting to break and have defects. The one I have been looking at is the Samsung Messenger Touch for Cricket services. I really like the white color they have, I think that will show scratches less than the black. The phone is $80 so that is the only fall back and then on top of that it will be $15 to add the phone to my number.
  2. Melmer from Michael's Craft Store for my nail polishes. Most of the time these are $15.
  3. Prepaid credit cards.
  4. Amazon Gift Card for Bundle Monster Plates (set 2) and a stamper.
  5. Ulta, Sally's, and Sephora Gift Cards.
  6. Konad sets but these are really expensive and I would rather go with Bundle Monster

In the end it all comes back to money because I am really picky with certain things. I can honestly tell you that I probably won't get money though..... It is the thought that counts and I don't want to be greedy this Holiday Season since I am starting to grow up and these things aren't that important later on in life.

I hope you all get everything you want this year. I hope warmth and peace fills all of your hearts.

31 Day Challenge Day 24

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
The movie that I based my mani off of today is Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, which I could have copped out and did it for yesterday and today because it is both a book and a movie.

Very different if I may say. There are a lot of vibrant colors in this movie because of the content of the movie. I used a neon orange and yellow along with a bright red.

Color Club Get Your Lem-On, OPI Atomic Orange, and Essie Forever Young.

That's really it for today. I don't really like how it turned out. A little messy if you ask me but I guess it just adds to the character of the movie.

31 Day Challenge Day 23

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I am such a nerd, today is inspired by a book. I have no creativity today. I went with Harry Potter. I am sure a lot of people have gone with Potter nails for today but I don't really care.
I kind of went off each of the four houses, if you haven't read or watched the movies you should. I actually forgot what nail polishes I used. I know that you need a red, gold, blue, yellow, green, silver, and black. It is really simple just make boxes on each of your nails.

Sorry for the lack of creativity, if you like it then we cool.

31 Day Challenge Day 22

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
To add to what I did yesterday, my favorite song has been Look At Me Now by Chris Brown. Something about it, I have changed so much, I used to listen to rock only, now I listen to rap, pop, and anything in between, I still don't listen to country.

I didn't see anyone do this song so I decided that it would be okay if I did. It isn't the best design and for some reason I forgot to take a picture before I put a top coat on.

I used OPI Don't Mess With OPI, OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window, and Finger Paints Scenery Greenery. Of course my black and white acrylic paints.

31 Day Challenge Day 21

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Ten days to go!! I can't wait for it to be over, is that bad? I think I am going to take a nail art (challenge) break until Christmas, I probably will do two weeks then. Of course I will finish this one but my posts after this challenge will be more sparatic then they have been lately. Then after that it will be New Years for a day or two and then Valentines Day and my birthday which is 3 days later. Am I missing anything?

Today I just did something easy. It is supposed to be inspired by color. I didn't get this one very well, so I just went with green. Green and yellow have taken the stage in my life for some reason. I kind of sponged three different green polishes.

I used OPI Don't Mess With OPI, Finger Paints Scenery Greenery, and OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down The Windows.

31 Day Challenge Day 20

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Phew today in particular I had problems with nail art... Anyone ever have fail days? I seriously redid like 12 nails, haha no seriously. I hated how some of them came out. Water Marbling is such a pain to do sometimes, even when you know how to do it right and everything. The colors can get muddled together, you can totally miss the design, and sometimes you just get something that turns out looking like crap. I think everyone has those types of days, well today was mine.

I used Finger Paints Lavender Highlight, China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le, and Color Club Who Are You Wearing? I topped it with China Glazes Fairy Dust, does anyone else have a problem with CHG FD getting too thick? I know I have to use like 10 drops of thinner to get the polish back to its original smoothness.

I hope you enjoyed, I know I liked the final look of it. Very fall-esk.

31 Day Challenge Day 19

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I changed my mind this is by far my favorite post out of this challenge. I have never tried Galaxy nails before today and I am going to tell you that I absolutely love it. I like how it just comes together. I actually got a lot of compliments today on my nails, people couldn't believe that I actually did this myself.

I used a CRAP ton of nail polishes for this.

Base color Downtown Diva by Ulta topped with Sally Hansens Pale Pink Opal which gave it a blue pink duochrome.
Then I sponged You Belong To Me by Essence as my nebula, then on the edges I used Orly's Galaxy Girl.
I used LA Colors Art Deco in white for the stars. Then for my shooting star I used Sally Hansen's Nail Prisms in Diamond which is holographic so it added something different to the table.

That's it. I hope you liked it if you did show your support by following me :)

31 Day Challenge Day 18

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I haven't ever done half moon's before today, I don't really like how mine came out but I am sure with a little bit of practice I could make mine look better. I should get some of those paper hole supports sticker things as a guide, I am sure I can find those at the dollar store.

I had Sally Hansen's Eel Skin still sitting out from when I did my tribal nails so I just used that as my base color this time. Then I went in with China Glaze's Skyscraper. Yeah a glitter which is a cool mix. I like how the glitter makes the grey look like it is in the background. I was actually going to do little crystals along the smile of the half moon so it looked a little cleaner but I didn't have a good color match for the glitter. I thought about light blue crystals.

I hope you like this, if you do show your support by following :)

31 Day Challenge Day 17

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I have a lot of glitters to chose from so that made today very easy for me. I actually used multiple nail polishes for today. Glitter is a really nice way to spice up any nail look.

For the base color I used my new Orly Rock Solid which has holographic glitter in it. Then I added a layer of Sally's Girl Way 2 Disco which is a duo chrome type glitter that shines blue, purple, and green (the way to find the colors of these polishes is to go onto Sallys Beauty website and type the numbers that come with the color into the search bar). Then I added a layer of China Glaze's Fairy Dust, I have to thin this polish almost every time I use it I am sure I am not the only one. China Glaze nail polishes become thick very quick. Finally I added a layer of INM Northern Lights (shaken) which is similar to Fairy Dust so I really didn't need this step but I wanted so much glitter.

Ugh this is going to be a pain in the ass to take off but really worth it. See the blurred picture for the sparkle.

If you like this be sure to show your support by following me.

31 Day Challenge Day 16

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I actually had to look at other people's Tribal Nails for today because I was seriously stumped on what to do. While I love the multiple primary color designs I also liked the duo color designs which is why mine only had three colors.

I kind of just did a lot of symmetric shapes. Triangles and lines and dots. I used China Glaze's For Audrey and Sally Hansen's Eel Skin and black acrylic paint. I used an Artist Loft Brush in Round Watercolor 5/0.

I didn't do the same design on every finger because that would be a little boring in my eyes. My favorites would be my pinkie and my thumb.

I hope you liked it, if you did show your support by following me ;)

31 Day Challenge Day 15

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Welcome to failed delicate print day. I have Bundle Monsters plate BM-206 which has a intricate design on it, it is the middle bottom design (closer to the BM logo), I thought I would try to recreate that with a brush and polish. I only recreated it because I don't have a stamper, I wish. Anyone know something that can act as a stamper without me having to purchase one?

Anyway I focused on the middle of each finger. I used a bright pink base which is Wet N' Wilds Dreamy Poppy and a bright green which is Sally Hansen's Lickety-Split Lime.
I just used a Artists Lofts Watercolor brush in round 5/0

Sorry this is so messy I didn't realize it until I went to edit the photos.

I failed horribly. Nail art this intricate is kind of hard for me. Oh how I wish I was Robin Moses.

Small Accessory Haul.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies and Fashion Addicts,
I am not sure if you all like these types of the posts but it is my blog and I will post whatever I like here, if you don't like that I am sorry, you don't have to read it.
In my last post I told you about a recent trip to Sephora and JC Penny's, I would like to share with you what I got.

Now I am not a big accessory fan, I am not into it for some reason. I have never worn earrings like the ones purchased. I only really wear the things that I need to or that I rarely take off. ( I have my cartilages done once on top and then on my left ear I have it done almost halfway down. I have my lobes done twice. I have my lip and nose pierced. Then I rarely take off my high school class ring and my lil' sis necklace off.) I have bracelets that I sometimes wear (bangles and such). Nothing too extravagant.

First off I want to show you a box set that I got which holds five pairs of earring. A basic gold and silver ball studs, basic fake Cubic Zirconia crystal studs, and fun purple and green Cubic Zirconia crystals.

Finally I got a pair of extravagant chandelier earrings. These are silver with pink beads. I lost the packaging but I know these are by Mixit.  These sit almost on my collar bones which will be fun for me to get used to. They are going to look cute with my new hair cut.

Did I mention that I got these all for $.80 yes 80 cents. These were both on sale, the box set for $5.99 and the chandelier earrings for $4.77 then the reason why I went was because I had a $10 off of a $10 purchase. I really wish it would have worked in a Sephora but it sadly doesn't.

Anyway this is it for today.

31 Day Challenge Day 14

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I do this design whenever I feel like I am in a mental block this time I added a lot more to it. It is a basic five petal FLOWER. Done with a dotting tool this will look great.

I did two friendly little blue and purple flowers on each of my fingers besides my thumb finger, which I did a big two toned flower with a rhinestone in the middle. On top of that with a recent trip to Sephora (inside of JC Penny's) I added a matte top coat. So not only is it sparkly and girly it is edgy.

For my base I used OPI Bling Dynasty.
For the blue flowers I used Bright Blue Chrome by Icings
For the purple flowers I used Berry Chrome by Icings
For the center of the flowers I used Lickety-Split Lime by Sally Hansen
I topped it with Seche Vite and then Sephora by OPI's Matte Top Coat

I hope you liked, if you did show your support by following me :)

31 Day Challenge Day 13

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
This is probably my favorite day of the challenge because it is animal print. I am not sure I did too well because my zebra didn't come out as planned.

I used OPI San Tan-tonio as the base and then black and white acrylic paint and then I didn't add a top coat to make the matte-ness of the acrylic paint show through.

I did leopard on my index finger and ring finger. Then I did zebra on my thumb, middle finger, and pinkie.

I hope you like it. If you do please feel free to follow.

31 Day Challenge Day 12

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I was trying to go for a modern type of stripes with very earthy and fall colors for today. I think I nailed it. It kind of reminds me of a scarf or something. Very modern and girly but kind of sophisticated. HAHA what a weird way of talking about nails.

I used several polishes for today.
My base is Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window By OPI
Darker purple stripes are Honk If You Love OPI By OPI
Lighter purple stripes are Lavender Highlight By Finger Paints
Yellow is a Art Deco by LA Colors which is just called Yellow.

I am really liking how this came out maybe I should do some plaid or Burberry nails.

I hope you liked it, thanks for following and reading.

31 Day Challenge Day 11

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
And hello polka dot day :) I really like polka dots but every time I do them on my nails it just looks weird to me. I am not sure why this is but it just does.

I used the same pink color from yesterday which is GO GO Pink by China Glaze and then I used the end of my paint brush as a dotting tool. I dotted 5 dots on each nail with You Belong To Me by Essence.

I really like how this came out, very pastel-y. Reminds me of Easter, which is like a long ways away. Oh well no one said I had to stay up with the trends :) and that is just fine with me.

Anyone else been playing Modern Warfare 3? OMG I am addicted to this game. Already a level 51 and I got the game yesterday.

31 Day Challenge Day 10

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Today is Gradient Day lol, I am pretty sure you saw my Halloween post, if not go check it out. I did a lime green gradient so this day was no challenge for me having past experience.

I did something really simple, 3 polishes was all this baby took.

I started out with China Glaze's GO GO Pink which I hauled like a week and a half ago. It is just a creamy pale pink, almost bubble gum pink. I basically got this for free with a set I purchased.

Then I added some of Finger Paints Pretty As A Portrait which is a lilac purple color. I love this purple.

Finally I sponged on some OPI Honk If You Love OPI which is a darker version of PAAP.

In all I think I like this. I hope you do too.

31 Day Challenge Day 9

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

This is probably the worst thing I have ever seen... I just said screw it and I took the picture of the work that I did. I worked for over two hours on today's nails which I HATE!
It is a good design but it looks like hell. I did two colors on each of my nails, in sort of a color blocking style. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple (violet).

All of the colors I used were LA Colors Art Deco, these things can be found at the dollar store. I would never spend more than $1 on them unless it was a color that I have never seen before, which there are colors that you can't get at the dollar store.

Now that I am a little bit frustrated with the design I am going to take this off and prep my nails for tomorrow. Ohh today is grooming day.

Enjoy yourself

31 Day Challenge Day 8

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I tried a different attempt to Metallic nails today. I am not sure if it meant full blown shiny out there almost metal metallic nails. I settled. Today I have two different nail polishes.
I love this challenge because I am using some nail polishes that I never thought that I would get around to using, which is a major plus in my book.

I first applied two coats of Sally Hansen Nail Prisms (holo) in Diamond which is a silver, similar to OMG by China Glaze. When I first got this polish it looked more scattered than a linear holo polish so I used it in two different frankens. I didn't realize this polish is REALLY hard to find and semi expensive, if I would have known I would have kept it all as one polish. I actually purchased this polish in a set of two at the dollar store, it came with a Diamond Strength in Forever which is a pink.

Then I applied a layer of China Glaze Tarnished Gold which is a foil-y gold. It is amazing! I love that it is such a shimmering gold color. This was actually one of my first crackle nail polish, now I have 11 crackles. I was thinking about purchasing a few more because I don't have a green or silver.

My picture doesn't do this combo justice.

Well that's it for today I hope you liked. See you all tomorrow.

Enjoy yourself

31 Day Challenge Day 7

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
First week down and 3 days until I am into the designs. Today is black and white nails.

I did a very simple design on this remember I am saving up for the big designs in the patterns days. I am wearing Wet N' Wild's French Creme White and LA Colors Art Deco In Black. I did dots on every other finger and stripes on the other fingers. On my thumb I did a mix of both. I am not sure why the white is coming off as a grey color, I swear it isn't. In one of the last posts I told you that I am testing out different settings on my camera.

Tomorrow is metallic day and I have the perfect idea in mind.

31 Day Challenge Day 6

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Only a few days left until I am into the patterns, I can't wait. I think this is a really fun challenge thus far. I might try version two here very soon.

Today I am wearing a single color but I did a little design to add some spice. I am wearing Finger Paints Lavender Highlight. I added little lines of black acrylic paint. Nothing too intense just something I added. See I told you I am totally ready to be in the design part of this challenge.

I hope you like, I know I did.

31 Day Challenge Day 5

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Today is blue nails, this one should be easier for me since I own a lot of blue nail polishes. It was harder though because most of the colors I own are for summer time or spring which would have been really funny to see for this day.

So far, 4 out of the 5 days I have worn two nail polishes. Today I am wearing two, who would have guessed? I am wearing Essence's @ Holographics Blue Ray and over that I am wearing LA Splash's Psych'd crackle. I topped it all with a shaken INM Northern Lights.

I am edging closer to the fun of this challenge I hope it goes well for me.
