Happy Valentines.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Just want to say Happy Valentines Day!!!

Then for my nails I am wearing OPI I Eat Mainly Lobster, OPI Argenteeny Pinkini, and China Glaze Go Go Pink in a water marble. I am excited because in school we are going to learn about this but I already have knowledge about it so I will be just fine. I can show them up with my skills.

Today I wore pink eyeshadow and mascara and that is pretty much is it.

That is it for today. <3

Enjoy yourself

Pink Wednesday.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Guess who is already thinking about Valentines Day? This girl right here :) I have never been one for Valentines Day but for some reason I am just in that type of mood lately. Hey what can I say people change.

Today I am just wearing a gradient nail consisting of China Glaze's Go Go Pink, Color Club's Yum Gum, Orly's Basket Case, and OPI's Teenage Dream. Then I stamped with plate SE21  with the two heart designs.I really need to invest on getting Teenage Dream in a bigger bottle because it is such a pretty color.

Anyway that is about it. I'm kind of nervous today because I only have 5 more days until school starts.

Enjoy yourself

Pastel Rainbow. Tutorial

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Sorry I have been a little busy around here lately.

Today I decided to actually do something different. I am wearing a mani that my friend did on her youtube.

Step one cut a sponge it has to be really hole-y, kind of like a painters sponge. You can find them at WalMart in the craft section or in Michael's in the painting section.

Then paint lines of color on the sponge. You can choose what colors you do.

Next you want to lightly press the sponge on to a paper, just to get the excess off.

Then place the sponge on your nail and press lightly. You can probably get away doing this to two nails and then you'll have to go back to step 2.

Repeat step 2 through 4 on each nail, just too make sure that it is on there well.

I kind of blended the lines a little bit by painting a layer of China Glaze's Fairy Dust.

I find that if you start out with a white base for lighter colors and a similar color if you are going to do darker colors. I used Yum Gum by Color Club, Mint Sorbet by Sally Hansen, You Belong To Me by Essence, and Lav-ish by Ulta.

You can visit PlasmaSpeedo's Page on Facebook or her youtube! She is a really amazing person and has a really quirky personality.

Enjoy yourself

Pink Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Sorry this is a tad bit late at night. I have been semi busy planning for college. I will do a big announcement here soon and I am going to talk to you all the day before to tell you what I am going to wear on my nails and maybe I will do a face of the day before I go in.

Happy Pink Wednesday! I am glad to be doing these again, I kind of missed them. Today I went really simple, I haven't had the time to do my nails too much and my creativity isn't flowing very fast lately. I used two coats of Color Clubs Space Case which is just a bright pink with holographic glitter. I actually don't like this polish as much because the beautiful glitter gets covered by the pink. Then I decided that I would add Correction Tape by Wet N' Wild on my ring finger.

Anyway that is it for today. Happy New Year everyone and I am very sorry that I didn't get to tell you that on New Years but I was kind of busy. I cut my hair today so I might post about that later on, I actually don't like it, I may or may not grow into it but we will see. I might have to go get it cut again.

Enjoy yourself

Soulful Pink Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was okay, got a lot of exciting things. I will be doing a haul but I am not sure when it will be up. I promised you to post on Christmas but I wasn't at my own home. I might add a couple of pictures of the other two days below but I am not sure.

Today I am wearing Sinful Colors Soul Mate which is a very blue based bubble gum pink. It reminds me of Orly's Cotton Candy. Then I stamped a butterfly from SE18, I used Snow Me White by Sinful Colors. It is really simple but very cute and I have done a design very similar when I first purchased the stamping set.

I hope you enjoyed this.... I will be talking to you very shortly so look forward to that.

Snowful Pink Wednesday.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I was actually stumped on what to do for this Pink Wednesday, which is odd for me.

I did a pink base and stamped a design in two different colors, silver and white. I know the stamp I used actually isn't a snowflake design but on my short nails it actually give off the impression of a snowflake.

For the base color I used OPI's My Address is Hollywood. Then I used Salon Express plate number SE20 and the image with the three little stars or whatever they are. I used LA Colors Art Deco in Silver and White.

What I had on yesterday was a gradient made of blues and it actually stained my nails and skin.

Anyway that is it for today. Psst. some little birdie told me that I am 3 followers away from the big 50 which means I will be doing a giveaway... I will post it after Christmas <3 if I get there before Christmas.

Enjoy yourself

Penguinish Pink Wednesday :)

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I saw a post from The Big Bad Wolf post on Penquins, I knew I had to do this design. She did hers on all of her nails and I thought this is Pink Wednesday so I had to incorporate pink somehow.

A while back I did a post about the Revlon Glitters. Starry ink is a lilac toned pink with small round and large hex silver glitter. For my nails I made a bling finger out of my penguin and then the other nails got two coats of Starry Pink. At first I wanted to stamp on this nail polish but I actually have been wearing this polish since yesterday and just added the penguin today, when I tried stamping yesterday it totally ruined the nail polish. It took this nail polish FOREVER to dry even with a top coat. So I just left it alone.

For the accent nail I painted the nail with the Starry Pink yesterday but I painted black acrylic paint over it. Then I added an egg shaped circle in white on the bottom of my nail and then with the end of a brush I dotted two circles above the egg shape. Then in the center of that I added two smaller black dots. Finishing up I added three small yellow triangles, one under the eyes and two at the base of the egg shape. I made a drawing below to show you how to do it step by step.
Haha don't make fun of my drawing.

Anyway that is about it. I can't wait until after Christmas to show you a gift that I got yesterday that I am totally excited for. It is going to make blogging and nail art/ anything related sooooo much easier. Expect a new collection post in about a month or two since I am doing a new collection post every 6 months.

Just expect that the day after Christmas.... Not to brag or anything.

Ohhhh 10 more followers until 50 followers.I think I am going to try to do a 50 Follower Giveaway but I am not sure. What would you like to see in a giveaway I already have 2 items.

31 Day Challenge Day 27

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I actually do my own artwork but I think that would be cheating if I were to do my own artwork for today. I did Ed Hardy artwork inspired nails for today. I hate how it came out. I was going for the roses that Ed Hardy is so famous for.
I used Sally Girl Curfew and then I actually used a rub on tattoo for the design. But what really sucked is that you can barely see it here. The roses actually blended in with the background because it was almost the identical color.
I am sorry that it sucks so badly. Oh well what can I do?

31 Day Challenge Day 15

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Welcome to failed delicate print day. I have Bundle Monsters plate BM-206 which has a intricate design on it, it is the middle bottom design (closer to the BM logo), I thought I would try to recreate that with a brush and polish. I only recreated it because I don't have a stamper, I wish. Anyone know something that can act as a stamper without me having to purchase one?

Anyway I focused on the middle of each finger. I used a bright pink base which is Wet N' Wilds Dreamy Poppy and a bright green which is Sally Hansen's Lickety-Split Lime.
I just used a Artists Lofts Watercolor brush in round 5/0

Sorry this is so messy I didn't realize it until I went to edit the photos.

I failed horribly. Nail art this intricate is kind of hard for me. Oh how I wish I was Robin Moses.

Enjoy yourself

31 Day Challenge Day 14

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I do this design whenever I feel like I am in a mental block this time I added a lot more to it. It is a basic five petal FLOWER. Done with a dotting tool this will look great.

I did two friendly little blue and purple flowers on each of my fingers besides my thumb finger, which I did a big two toned flower with a rhinestone in the middle. On top of that with a recent trip to Sephora (inside of JC Penny's) I added a matte top coat. So not only is it sparkly and girly it is edgy.

For my base I used OPI Bling Dynasty.
For the blue flowers I used Bright Blue Chrome by Icings
For the purple flowers I used Berry Chrome by Icings
For the center of the flowers I used Lickety-Split Lime by Sally Hansen
I topped it with Seche Vite and then Sephora by OPI's Matte Top Coat

I hope you liked, if you did show your support by following me :)

31 Day Challenge Day 11

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
And hello polka dot day :) I really like polka dots but every time I do them on my nails it just looks weird to me. I am not sure why this is but it just does.

I used the same pink color from yesterday which is GO GO Pink by China Glaze and then I used the end of my paint brush as a dotting tool. I dotted 5 dots on each nail with You Belong To Me by Essence.

I really like how this came out, very pastel-y. Reminds me of Easter, which is like a long ways away. Oh well no one said I had to stay up with the trends :) and that is just fine with me.

Anyone else been playing Modern Warfare 3? OMG I am addicted to this game. Already a level 51 and I got the game yesterday.

31 Day Challenge Day 10

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Today is Gradient Day lol, I am pretty sure you saw my Halloween post, if not go check it out. I did a lime green gradient so this day was no challenge for me having past experience.

I did something really simple, 3 polishes was all this baby took.

I started out with China Glaze's GO GO Pink which I hauled like a week and a half ago. It is just a creamy pale pink, almost bubble gum pink. I basically got this for free with a set I purchased.

Then I added some of Finger Paints Pretty As A Portrait which is a lilac purple color. I love this purple.

Finally I sponged on some OPI Honk If You Love OPI which is a darker version of PAAP.

In all I think I like this. I hope you do too.

Enjoy yourself

Small Haul

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Yesterday I went to Sally's deciding to break some cash, bad idea haha! I had my eye on a few  things and some where impulse buys.

The big thing that I wanted was Seche Vite, now I know there is a controversy over Seche and I am fully aware of the side effects.  But that SHINE! It is better than anything I have ever seen before, INM, Poshe, anything.

I bought The Seche Support Awareness set which has the Seche Vite, China Glaze Go Go Pink which I actually adore, and a little angle key ring. I love buying things for breast cancer awareness because they are so cute and girly. This set cost me $8.99 which I have seen Seche go for that much alone so getting the other two free is a good deal.

Next is Orly's Rock Solid, now I wouldn't have bought this if I would have remembered the price tag. I don't like the price of them. I think it was around $7 or $8. I am glad I did though because it is like China Glazes Fairy Dust on crack.

Then I needed another base coat because mine is almost out and starting to get a little thicker than I had hoped it would be.  The one I normally get is Beauty Secrets Base Coat. I like their new packaging, the old packaging pissed me off a lot.

Lastly I picked up some glitter because of my Halloween costume. It is the Sally's Girl Glitter in Gleaming Green, which is a neon green colored glitter that shines to be yellow and green. You will see how I used it in my post when I post it.

With a recent decision I may be getting my babysitting job back which would make me employed full time and that would mean that I would bring in a full income which means that I would be more inclined to make more hauls and keep up with nail collections. Like I would love to do. I need to get a better storage system for my polishes because as of right now I am in two plastic shoe boxes and an overflow into a basket which is filled to the top and all of my polishes are set sideways in this basket.  I am thinking the Melmer from Michael's or even looking around at some different stores like Bed Bath and Beyond. Maybe you can tell me some storage ideas.

Enjoy yourself

Halloween Challenge Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Happy Witches Poison Wednesday, I didn't actually know what to do today... I remembered that I had previously did a witch earlier in October. Why not do her poison?  On my pinkie, middle, and index fingers is her poison. On my thumb and ring finger is cross bones and a skull.

I used Color Club Yum Gum, Raspberry Rush, and Gimme A Grape Big Kiss for the gradient and art work. Then the little black dots are Tangled In My Web by Wet N' Wild, I picked the glitter out and placed it where I wanted.

That is all for today :) Sorry it looks so nasty around my cuticles this cold air got to me today and I was in a rush.

Halloween Challenge Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Webbed Wednesday meets Pink Wednesday! I did a really neon pink with crackle on all of the nails besides my left ring finger which has a nice big web on it. Also notice that shine? Yeah that's Seche Vite, I am completely sold on it. Much better than IMN. I plan on buying this very soon. Most likely at Sally's.

I used Creme Pink by Sinful Colors and Black Mesh by China Glaze. Some Acrylic paint as well.

I am pretty worn out so I am going to hit the road.

Enjoy yourself

Revlon Glitters.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Revlon released these in August and ever since they have become the in thing right now. There are three of these glitters and initially I was only going to buy two out of the three. There is 051 Starry Pink, 934 Blue Mosaic, and 940 Facets Of Fuchsia, now I am not 100% sure why they jump around in numbering but it is an interesting aspect. I was thinking that these may have been toned down since it is in the fall time that they released these but surprisingly they are bright with the exception of Facets of Fuchsia.

Starry Pink is a baby pink almost on the lilac side. It is very murky or dusty. The glitter is a silver glitter that is a mix between small circular glitter and larger hexagonal glitter. The only sad thing is with the murky base the glitters kind of get lost, it is hard to find them.

Blue Mosaic is clear base with different colored glitter. There is light blue, small, round glitters, Big hexagonal silver, baby blue, and green glitters. This one is very unique. Since it is in a clear base I recommend using it over something else. Although you can layer tons of coats to achieve opaqueness with this alone. It is my favorite out of the bunch.

Lastly Facets Of Fuchsia and the most widely talked about. This is a black based jelly with bright fuchsia glitter. The glitter is actually small round glitters and larger hexagonal glitters. This is a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance which is based off of Lady Gaga's song. I would love to say this is my favorite because of it's diverseness but I find it to be kind of bland. LOL I am not sure how to describe it.

The best place to buy these would be at Target because the price tag is fairly cheaper there at $3.79. Also with Target you can always find coupons. I actually purchased mine at Ulta when they were having their buy two get one free deal going on, plus I had a $5 off of a $10 purchase together I purchased all of the glitters for $5. Got to be smart when shopping.

Do you have these polishes, Do you plan on getting them, What is your favorite(s)?

Stay tuned for my up coming series for Halloween, it will be different and kind of a cute idea. :D

Sorry for my crummy pictures, I like to take them during the day when the sun is out but the sun really hasn't been out much were I live.

Enjoy yourself

Quick Pink Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Today I decided to do something different. It is Wednesday after all. I wanted to hold on to the Halloween nail art but I am still holding on to brighter colors and not such deep nail art.
OPI My Address is Hollywood is my base color, It is a medium pink with a darker fuchsia shimmer, some have said gold as well but I am not sure. I used this color in my 30 Untrieds.
Max 2012 Crackle in Innocence is just a white crackle. I have wanted one for so long, so I am excited to actually own one. I got 10 crackles in all from 2012, I plan on keeping 6 and GIVING AWAY 4. I will be doing a giveaway at either 150 or 200 followers, Yes I know I have a while to go before I get that many, I just have to work myself up.
China Glaze Crackle in Tarnished Gold is a foil-y gold crackle. I bought this because I had seen the Sally Hansen one on someone but I didn't want to spend the amount on S.H. when I could buy this one for the same price at Sallys. I did layer a top coat between, if you don't they won't crackle on top of each other.
I had originally done this design with Revlons Minted, Max 2012 Innocence, and China Glazes Tarnished Gold, Personally I liked that combo a lot better.
I am brewing something up for the up coming holiday, so keep your eyes out for that. It has taken me awhile to come up with this certain series. I hope you all like it! Expect the opening on Sunday, October 16th and it will run until Monday, October 31st. So two weeks.
I didn't realize that I have taken such a long break and for that I am sorry, I am sick and the 30 Untireds really was draining on me. I have reviews planned for 3 things that will take place within the next week. One is nail related and the other two are makeup related.

Keep a look out for the exciting things to come.

Enjoy yourself

A Halloween Pink Wednesday.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Long time no talk... LOL only 2 days. I told you I was going to take a little break after my 30 Untrieds. I think my break is done.

Now coming up with a Halloween design for pink is hard, really hard. I only have three or so ideas but I guess that is okay since there is only 3 more after today.

Today's theme is a girly witch.
I used Finger Paints Rose Patina as my base pink, black and white acrylic paint, and LA Colors Art Deco in Baby Pink.

On my thumb I did a corset type of pattern, my boyfriend said it looks more like a shoe, lol.
On my index finger I have the start of the broom.
On my middle finger I have some of the broom and the little witch, I thought I did her backwards.
On my ring finger I have the rest of the broom.
On my pinkie I have a little witch hat.

Woohooo clever right?
Stay tuned for my other Pink Wednesday's in October.

Enjoy yourself

30 Untrieds Day 28 Pink Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I want to thank you all for sticking with me the whole entire 30 Untrieds. It has been a weird cycle. Today I figured it was my last Pink Wednesday in the series why not do something fun.
I haven't water marbled in a long time. I am not sure why I haven't but it has been around a month or so since I last attempted it.
I did it with three colors today, 2 I haven't tried and 1 I have... Is that cheating? I don't think so.

OPI I Eat Mainly Lobster is a bright coral almost red. Well I guess you could say red but more of a pink, it has a pink sheen to it along with golden sparkle to it. Very unique  because it isn't red but it isn't pink. RENK?

OPI My Address is Hollywood falls along the same shimmer and sheen. This is a bright  but muted pink... Does that make sense? I have no idea. I like it.

I am not sure the point behind pinks and renks for fall but I mean I am not going to judge, I used to wear bright yellow around this time of year.

Lastly the pink that I use the crap out of. I am totally going to be sad when it is all gone. Orly's Pink Whisper which is a light pink almost white, with a light shimmer. Very opaque. I wish I would have put a base coat of this down because you can totally see my nail line.

Two more days WHOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! I can't wait to be done. I may take a couple of days break, just to do something makeup related.

Enjoy yourself

30 Untrieds Day 25

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I woke up to a lovely surprise this morning which I will share with you very soon, next post I promise.

Today I did a jelly sandwich with 3 nail polishes. I like it!!!

First was a base of Color Club's Gimme A Grape Big Kiss which is a neon purple. Cream finish, very sheer like the rest of the Wicked Sweet Collection ( I need three more and the collection is complete). Scented like Grapes... Yummy. It is opaque in three coats which is great considering the other Lemon and Lime are sheer and are opaque in four or five. It has a jelly look to it once dried.

Next I applied a coat of Wet N' Wild's Correction Tape from the On The Prowl Collection. This is similar to Party Of Five Glitters only it is pink, blue, silver, and black multi shaped glitter. The glitter is kind of sparse. I would like it if there was more glitter that stayed on your finger after each swipe.

Finally I finished it with a coat of Color Club's Raspberry Rush which is a reddened pink.  It is like Gimme A Grape Big Kiss in the sense of opaqueness and finishes. It is scented to be Raspberry. I love these scented nail polishes from Color Club... I had so much trouble finding inspiration for nail art, I took these on and off all day. I smelt it all day... I love them to death <3

I bought the two Color Clubs for $1.59 each and the Wet N' Wild for $1.50 at my Fred Meyer. Clearance bins are my best friend <3.

Enjoy yourself
