30 Untrieds Day 5

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Are any of you like me? I do my nails all cute and then I never go anywhere or do anything. I don't have a job and I can't drive... yet! Is this sad because I am 20? What is even worse is that I do my nails really cute just to take them off the next day.
I think for this 30 Untrieds I am thinking that it would be best if I just kept the design simple or no design at all. After all it is a lot of work.

Today I have another neon color, lets hope it is as warm here as it was yesterday. This neon is a vibrant cream lime. It reminds me of the Slime from Nickelodeon. It is a very thin polish that needs more than 2 coats. This could be prevented by a white base coat first, sadly I don't actually own a pure white mine is really thick and I forgot to buy another one.

Color Club's The Lime Starts Here is from the Wicked Sweet Collection, along with Get Your Lem-On which I did a post about on the first day of my Untrieds. All the polishes in the collection have their own "unique" scents, this one is lime. Since I do not have a white polish under this I had to do 3 or 4 coats.

I decided that I have done too many simple designs so I added a black splatter effect. Most people would do this with a regular polish but I did this with acrylic paint because I was having troubles with my polish not splattering, which is totally noticeable on my left hand. I may or may not show you the left hand

Just a note, Cuticle Removing Gel eats nail polish. I was cleaning my cuticles after I did this and I usually have a gap between my cuticle and the polish. While trying to clean my cuticle up I noticed that the polish was coming off too. It was weird. Now I have a bigger gap in between the two. I wish there was a way to get rid of cuticles all together and never have them come back. For those of you who barely have them or don't have them, YOU are lucky.

Enjoy yourself
XOXO

  1. I like the splatter manicure. I have no idea why, but when I saw it I thought about Halloween! Maybe if you did the base coat orange with the black splatter it would look even more Halloween-ish! Looks good!
