31 Day Challenge Day 6

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Only a few days left until I am into the patterns, I can't wait. I think this is a really fun challenge thus far. I might try version two here very soon.

Today I am wearing a single color but I did a little design to add some spice. I am wearing Finger Paints Lavender Highlight. I added little lines of black acrylic paint. Nothing too intense just something I added. See I told you I am totally ready to be in the design part of this challenge.

31 Day Challenge Day 5

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Today is blue nails, this one should be easier for me since I own a lot of blue nail polishes. It was harder though because most of the colors I own are for summer time or spring which would have been really funny to see for this day.

So far, 4 out of the 5 days I have worn two nail polishes. Today I am wearing two, who would have guessed? I am wearing Essence's @ Holographics Blue Ray and over that I am wearing LA Splash's Psych'd crackle. I topped it all with a shaken INM Northern Lights.

I am edging closer to the fun of this challenge I hope it goes well for me.

31 Day Challenge Day 4

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Welcome to day 4 which is green day. I really like this green for today I am not sure what it is about it but it is love. I have told you before that I am not too keen on darker nail polishes on my nails, it could be that my nails are very small in size compared to others nails. Or it could just my skin tone, I am not sure what it is but darker colors aren't my friend.

Today I am boring, one color. I am wearing Finger Paints Scenery Greenery. I like this color so much. I think the reason I like it so much is because it's almost a jelly finish. I love the squishiness to jelly nail polish, their shine as well. This is without a top coat. 

Please don't mind the camera picture I am trying to mess with my camera to get better quality. I hope it is a little better, this picture was taken inside under a lamp.

31 Day Challenge Day 3

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Whooohoo day 3 which is Yellow day! I love yellow to death. It is my favorite color but someone has told me that yellow is one of the most angering colors in the world. I am not sure on that. HAHA!!!

On my nails I have two colors yet again. I have Sinful Colors Unicorn on my ring and index fingers. Then on my pinkie, middle finger, and thumb I have Color Club Get Your Lem-On. Over that I put INM Northern Lights shaken up which just gives it a cutesy and pulled together look. 

That's all today folks LOL.

What's In My Purse?

Hello Lacquered Lovelies and Fashion Fanatics,

Ever wonder what I am packing around? Well I am going to tell you what is in this nail bloggers purse. I know my purse isn't that out there but I really like it.

The purse itself is actually from Old Navy, I am not sure how much it was because it was a gift. I have had it for a few months now. Before that I didn't wear a purse in fact I only carried my wallet around and sometimes I still only carry my wallet. I am getting used to wearing a purse. In high school I wore one because I would carry my laptop inside, I could still put my laptop in this purse and still have a lot more room.

When you look into my purse there is only two pockets, one big pocket and a small zippered pocket. In the bigger pocket I put things that aren't grabbed for as often besides my wallet and in the smaller one I put things that need to be readily available.

In the big pocket I have my wallet of course. I also have a bag full of my essential nail and beauty needs, I will go in depth down below. Then I have a few snack items such as Pringles Sticks in Honey, Breakfast To Go, a mini Gatorade in Tropical Punch, and som Project 7 Gum in Fresh Mint. I also carry a big bottle of my favorite Bath and Body Works Body Spray in Brown Sugar and Fig. 

In the smaller pocket I carry my iPOD, if you are wondering I have a 80GB Classic. Then I have my crappy cellphone, haha I am too poor to buy a new one, I do however plan on getting a new one. I usually have my keys there too. Along with a Bath and Body Works Hand Sanitizer but I left those two at my sisters house on accident, oops. 

Then in my beauty bag I have a few drink items, a packet of Crystal Light Pure in Mixed Berry, ICK, and 3 packets of Bigelow Spiced Apple Cider Tea. Then I have a lighter for no reason. Then I have a nail file, nail clippers, cuticle cutters (both kinds)  and tweezers. I have a few hair things. Then I have a base coat. Bath and Body Works Peach Citrus lotion sample and Secrets Oh La La Lavender body spray. Liplicious Lipgloss in Sangria. JR. Watkins Cuticle Salve in Lavender. A pencil and a green sharpie.

Then In my wallet I have money, coupons in the zipper pocket. My ID which is hidden in the picture for safety reasons. A prepaid debit card. Another prepaid debit card. A movie card. My library card. Ulta Club Card, Sally's Card, Sephora Card, Hot Topic Card, and a KMart card. I also carry another sharpie this one is a light blue color.

That is it. Not a lot if you ask me.  If you can see I use a lot of Bath and Body Works products. I love that company. I am going to review my favorite scent here soon.

31 Day Challenge Day 2

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Today is orange day haha. I don't really like orange on my nails but I like the color orange. Has anyone else noticed that this challenge actually goes in a rainbow? Like Day 9? Ohhhh I can't wait for day 9! Sorry there isn't a Pink Wednesday today, I won't be doing them unless the challenge tells me to. In a month from now I will be back to doing Pink Wednesday. Orange is close to pink though.

I have two oranges on my fingers today. I have OPI's Atomic Orange which is a bright neon orange and then I have Sinful Colors Cloud 9 which is similar to Zoya's Tanzy. I sponged this on, just the tips of it.

I think that is it for today.

31 Day Challenge Day 1

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Everyone has seen this before! I thought I would jump on the band wagon with the 31 Day Challenge. I am not sure if this is the first edition or the second edition. All I know is that Life and Polish is doing it as well, a lot of other bloggers have done this recently. There aren't an even 31 days in November so the first of December will be the last day. 

Today is Red Nails so I didn't do it 100% red but it is red. 

I am wearing China Glazes GR8 under Max 2012 Crackle in Medusa which is a red shimmer. Very pretty if I may say.

I am pleased to be doing this challenge. I am kind of dreading the tribal and galaxy nails but I will push through that.

Happy Halloween

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

As promised here is what I am for Halloween this year. I actually was two different things, my sister has a Halloween party which I dressed up for and then what I am actually today. Both costumes are very similar, I used the same nail design and a lot of the same makeup. 

For my sisters party I was Ivy from Batman, I may be able to find a picture from the party but I am not sure yet, If you see a picture here than I found one but if not than no. Today I am a forest nymph or green fairy. I only really did the makeup and nails this year so I am not really going to post an outfit.

For my makeup in this I used the greens from Wet N' Wild's Cool As A Cucumber palette, a no name eyeliner from Hot Topic, a neon glitter from Sally's Girl, black liquid eyeliner and black mascara. Pink lipgloss from HIP and Pearlescent Pink Blush from Wet N' Wild. 

My other costume I alternated between red and green. My eyes were green and I had green glitter. For my contour and lips/eyebrows were all red. Very Ivy-ish.

For my nails I used Essence Lime Up! and sponged on OPI's Don't Mess With OPI, Finger Paint's Scenery Greenery, and Orly's Rock Solid.

Halloween Challenge Sunday

Halloween Challenge Saturday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Spider Saturday. Sad thing is that I am going to have to take this off before tonight because I have a Halloween Party to go to and it is costume only. Remember I will show you what I am going to be on Halloween and that will be makeup and nails maybe even outfit if I am feeling dangerous enough. 

I just did spiders and webs today but I am not sure that you can see the spiders but they are there. I used Wet N' Wilds Behind Closed Doors and grey acrylic paint.

Halloween Challenge Friday

4 Days to go. Today I did a Freaky House. A lot of people have done this one but mine is hand painted also a little bit of a fail, HAHA!

I used Finger Paints Pretty As A Portrait and OPI Honk If You Love OPI. Black acrylic paint and Finger Paints Art Nouv-Yellow for the windows.

Pretty boring if you ask me. LOL.

Small Haul

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Yesterday I went to Sally's deciding to break some cash, bad idea haha! I had my eye on a few  things and some where impulse buys.

The big thing that I wanted was Seche Vite, now I know there is a controversy over Seche and I am fully aware of the side effects.  But that SHINE! It is better than anything I have ever seen before, INM, Poshe, anything.

I bought The Seche Support Awareness set which has the Seche Vite, China Glaze Go Go Pink which I actually adore, and a little angle key ring. I love buying things for breast cancer awareness because they are so cute and girly. This set cost me $8.99 which I have seen Seche go for that much alone so getting the other two free is a good deal.

Next is Orly's Rock Solid, now I wouldn't have bought this if I would have remembered the price tag. I don't like the price of them. I think it was around $7 or $8. I am glad I did though because it is like China Glazes Fairy Dust on crack.

Then I needed another base coat because mine is almost out and starting to get a little thicker than I had hoped it would be.  The one I normally get is Beauty Secrets Base Coat. I like their new packaging, the old packaging pissed me off a lot.

Lastly I picked up some glitter because of my Halloween costume. It is the Sally's Girl Glitter in Gleaming Green, which is a neon green colored glitter that shines to be yellow and green. You will see how I used it in my post when I post it. 

With a recent decision I may be getting my babysitting job back which would make me employed full time and that would mean that I would bring in a full income which means that I would be more inclined to make more hauls and keep up with nail collections. Like I would love to do. I need to get a better storage system for my polishes because as of right now I am in two plastic shoe boxes and an overflow into a basket which is filled to the top and all of my polishes are set sideways in this basket.  I am thinking the Melmer from Michael's or even looking around at some different stores like Bed Bath and Beyond. Maybe you can tell me some storage ideas.

Halloween Challenge Thursday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

All you TERRIFIED GHOSTIES, 5 Days and counting. I love Halloween to death! Today I  did something really easy because I am not feeling that great, lets hope I am not sick on Halloween, I usually am sick on one or more Holidays per year, A LOT of the time on my birthday. I had the stomach flu this year on my birthday, ohhhhhh 4 months until I'm 21!!!!!

I used a no name neon orange from Sally's Girl. Then I used white and black acrylic paint. As always :)

Halloween Challenge Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Happy Witches Poison Wednesday, I didn't actually know what to do today... I remembered that I had previously did a witch earlier in October. Why not do her poison?  On my pinkie, middle, and index fingers is her poison. On my thumb and ring finger is cross bones and a skull. 

I used Color Club Yum Gum, Raspberry Rush, and Gimme A Grape Big Kiss for the gradient and art work. Then the little black dots are Tangled In My Web by Wet N' Wild, I picked the glitter out and placed it where I wanted.

That is all for today :) Sorry it looks so nasty around my cuticles this cold air got to me today and I was in a rush.

Halloween Challenge Tuesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

Tricked Out Tuesday, since I previously did Treats Tuesday I figured I would do Tricks Tuesday. Basically card tricks though because I fail at everything else lol. 

I used Essie's Forever Young as the base and then I went in with White and Black Acrylic  Paint. A lot of my designs revolve around the acrylic paints.

Today was a really long day. Sorry I didn't post this sooner, I babysat all day today. Soon I will be doing this full time so all of my posts will be in the morning or at night and A LOT on the weekends and Monday's.
