Soulful Pink Wednesday

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was okay, got a lot of exciting things. I will be doing a haul but I am not sure when it will be up. I promised you to post on Christmas but I wasn't at my own home. I might add a couple of pictures of the other two days below but I am not sure.

Today I am wearing Sinful Colors Soul Mate which is a very blue based bubble gum pink. It reminds me of Orly's Cotton Candy. Then I stamped a butterfly from SE18, I used Snow Me White by Sinful Colors. It is really simple but very cute and I have done a design very similar when I first purchased the stamping set.

I hope you enjoyed this.... I will be talking to you very shortly so look forward to that.

Enjoy yourself

Holicure #6 Snowmen

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Another long day for me here. I was going to do a mix and match but I am going to opt out and just do this Holiday Manicure. Today I have Snowmen on my nails.... Well I have changed it for school purposes. I have Finger Paints Scenery Greenery with Finger Paints Flashy over it.

For the base I am using Essence Color and Go in You Belong To Me. Then I used white acrylic paint. to make the snowmen, ground, and snow, I also used black acrylic paint for the arms, buttons, and top hat.

Well that is it. I am going to be doing an important post on Tuesday and then  all of the promised posts.

Enjoy yourself

MIX and MATCH #2

Hello Lacquered Lovelies and Makeup Junkies,
Another Mix and Match here. I am going to do maybe one more of these before the end of the year. Today I am going to talk to you about My hair makeup and nails... I went to tour a Cosmetology School here today, I wanted to look great.

Today on my face I used Moisturizer, Primer, Foundation, and Concealer. For my eyes I used Urban Decay's Smog all over the lid and blended it out with Dark Horse. Then for my eyeliner I used Wet N' Wilds Liquid Eyeliner in black and L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes and Maybelline Colossal in Black. For my lips I used L'Oreals Lipgloss in Polished Pearl.

For my hair I just straightened it and put a black barret on the crown of my head. I really love how it came out.

Then for my nails I used Finger Paints Romanticism Ruby then over that I layered Finger Paints Flakies in Flashy. It is such a cute  idea. Tomorrow I am going to do my regular Holicure but I am going to have to change it again because I am going to go back to the Cosmetology school for financial aid reasons.

Enjoy yourself

Holicure #5 Christmas Trees

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Ohhhh so close to Christmas I have a feeling this year is going to be great for me. Today is about Christmas Trees. I actually don't like how the trees came out but I am keeping with it. I am going to change it for a MIX and MATCH later today.

I did a blue background China Glazes Secret Peri-Wink-Le and then I used white acrylic paint. For the trees I used OPI's Don't Mess With OPI and then for the highlights of the trees I used OPI's Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window. I was going to add little decorations but I thought that would be far too much.

Well that is it. I am glad to be sitting here and blogging to you right now :) Sorry for my nasty cuticles the winter is doing only but bad things for me today :(

Holicure #4 Poinsettia Flowers

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I think that a Poinsettia flower is so pretty, they are very unique. I actually wanted to test out the stamping plates some more. The flowers are scattered through out the nails.

I painted my nails OPI's Bling Dynasty, then I stamped the flowers from SE21. I used LA Colors Art Deco in Red Glitters for the stamps.

I am so excited for Christmas this year. I actually am opening all of my gifts from my boyfriends family on Christmas Eve because I am going to my sisters for the rest of Christmas Eve and Christmas day and probably won't be back until the day after. I plan on doing a Christmas Haul the day or so after... We will see won't we?

Well I hope you all are having an amazing time this Holiday Season <3

I used OPI's Bling Dynasty for the french tips and black acrylic paints for the cord. I used LA Colors Art Deco in Red Glitter and Mint Green for the lights.

Well that is pretty much it. I plan on posting my giveaway within the next week or two. So look for that.

Holicure #2 Snowflakes

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Today is the second day for the Holiday Manicures. Today's is strictly acrylic paint. I have a thing for acrylic paint and nail art. It makes it easier for me to do nail art for some reason. Today I have Snowflakes on a blue and white background.

I don't really have much to say today but look out for a haul post that I am going to do today!!! I spent entirely too much and I got a giveaway prize that I am sure anyone would enjoy. <3

Holicure #1 Candy Canes

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,

I am going to be doing a week full of Holiday Manicures. Each day will be a different design. I wanted to do 12 Days Of Christmas but obviously that didn't go as planned. One week, seven days! I can do this, if I did a whole month of Untrieds this should be easy peasy.

Today is Candy Canes. Now I didn't do the typical Candy Canes, these are very different.

I started out with a dark base and then I out lined a crook for the cane and then colored it all white. Then I added red stripes all up and down. It kind of looked like a french tip design when I first started and then I went up one side more than the other.

I used Orly's Rock Solid from the Mineral FX collection which I might do a post on after the Holidays but then it will be a little behind on the collections, who cares though? Then I used white acrylic paint for the crook. For the red stripes I used LA Colors Art Deco in Red Glitters.

Well that is it. Tomorrows post will be snowflake nails so look forward to that.
Thank you all for following and commenting. 50 Follower Giveaway should be up before the end of this year. YAY 2012!!!!

Giveaway Coming UP!!!!

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Thank you to all who are following my blog! I never thought in a million years that I would reach such a great milestone. Actually if you would have asked me a year ago if I would have been into nail polish or into blogging I would have told you YEAH RIGHT!

So thank you all who have been following my blog and welcome to all of the new followers. Without you I don't think I would be sitting here hoarding all of this polish, doing crazy nail art designs, and blogging about my experiences.

As for the date of when my giveaway starts I think I may do it a couple of days after Christmas. I have two prizes so far I need to get a few more. I think this one might be a little smaller than that of what I will do at 100 or 200. Maybe suggest a couple of polishes that you would like to see in my giveaway.

Thank you again!!!

Enjoy yourself

Snowful Pink Wednesday.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I was actually stumped on what to do for this Pink Wednesday, which is odd for me.

I did a pink base and stamped a design in two different colors, silver and white. I know the stamp I used actually isn't a snowflake design but on my short nails it actually give off the impression of a snowflake.

For the base color I used OPI's My Address is Hollywood. Then I used Salon Express plate number SE20 and the image with the three little stars or whatever they are. I used LA Colors Art Deco in Silver and White.

What I had on yesterday was a gradient made of blues and it actually stained my nails and skin.

Anyway that is it for today. Psst. some little birdie told me that I am 3 followers away from the big 50 which means I will be doing a giveaway... I will post it after Christmas <3 if I get there before Christmas.

Enjoy yourself

Sigma Complete Kit with Brush Roll Review.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies and Makeup Junkies,
I am reviewing Sigma's Complete Kit with Brush Roll. The kit comes with 7 eye brushes, 5 face brushes, and a free travel sized E25. The price for the kit now is $89 and that is without the brush roll but you can buy the roll or the brush cups for $20. Mine was $105 when I got it because the brush roll was included. I didn't buy my brushes though, they were sent to me through Luuux.com where I would blog about beauty related things and after time I had enough to purchase these through that website.

Before this set I was using ELF and no name brushes. Cheap brushes that would get the job done. Since using these brushes I will never go back to those brushes. I have tried MAC brushes because of friends and these brushes compare to those very well. I think these ones are just as good as the MAC brushes. The Urban Decay Brush that I have compares very nicely too. Save your money buy these.

The kit includes 7 eye brushes; E05 Eyeliner, E30 Pencil, E40 Tapered Blending, E55 Eye Shading, E60 Large Shader,E65 Small Angle, and E70 Medium Angle Shading. Then there is 5 face brushes; F30 Large Powder, F40 Large Contour, F50 Duo Fibre, F60 Foundation, and F70 Concealer. Of course the free gift which is travel sized E25.

  • E05 Eyeliner is a synthetic bristle brush that I actually use for a lip lining brush. I really think that this kit would have benefited from a lip brush.
  • E30 Pencil is a natural bristle brush that I use for lining the lower lash line and precision color placement into the crease and other areas.
  • E40 Tapered Blending is a natural bristle brush that can be used to blend the crease or colors together.
  • E55 Eye Shading is a natural bristle brush that can be used to pack the color onto the lid.
  • E60 Large Shader is a natural bristle brush that can be used to create a nice wash of color all over the lid. Very similar to the E55
  • E65 Small Angle is a synthetic bristle brush that is great of applying cream eyeliner or a thin line along the lash line or on the water line. I use this to fill in my eye brows.
  • E70 Medium Angle Shading is a natural bristle brush that is great for applying color in the crease or blending the crease out a little.
  • F30 Large Powder is a natural bristle brush that is great for powder application. You can also use this for body bronzing.
  • F40 Large Angle Contour is a natural bristle brush that is used to apply blush and bronzer. I use it to contour all the time.
  • F50 Duo Fibre is a synthetic and natural bristle brush that can be used for light application of foundation, blush. bronzers, and highlighters.
  • F60 Foundation is a  synthetic bristle brush that is used to apply foundation.
  • F70 Concealer is a synthetic bristle brush that is used to apply concealer. I actually use it to apply cream bases to my eyes.

  • E25 Blending is natural bristle brush that is great for blending and applying color. This is the travel sized brush.

I really love having these brushes, I do but I find that I only really grab for a few of them. The E25, E30, E65, F40 and the F70 are the brushes that are used the most. On occasion I will grab for E05 and E30. I think that if you are to buy the set that you make sure you are going to want to use them. Buying the set makes the brushes around $8 each rather than the individual prices of $9-$42 each. I think that it might be cheaper to go the individual way if you are only going to use a couple of the brushes. Or buy the kits that are made for certain parts of the face. There is a way to build your own kit too.

I really love the quality of these brushes. I have had these brushes for almost 10 months, I got the brushes around my 20th birthday in Feb. There hasn't been any real shedding besides the little fall out here and there, nothing too drastic. My brushes are in the shape that I got them in, some  bristles are bent a little due to travel but nothing cleaning can't fix. (I will be doing a post on home made brush cleanser)

I store these brushes in a glass container that I got from Big Lots not too long ago. I do have a few products that I use daily in there and a comb. If you read my makeup collection you will see where in my collection these are stored.

Of course no review would be a Pam Review without the wishlist of products that I would love to get from the said company. I know I won't be able to get these all but it is a nice reminder.

  • Mr. Bunny Black Essential Kit
  • Sigmax Synthetic Essential Kit
  • Make Me Classy TRAVEL kit
  • Cleansing and Polishing Tool
  • Dry and Shape
  • Individual brushes F55, F05, F35, F10, F15, F45, F20, F35, E45, E25, E20,E15, E10, E50, E35,L05, and The Body Brush.
  • Heart Mirror in Pink Safari and Wild Pink
  • Maxbag in Black
  • Bare, Dare, and Flare Makeup Palettes.

Thanks for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Enjoy yourself

The Nail Polish Tag

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
Thalie over at Glazed Talons very graciously tagged me to do the Nail Polish Tag. I am accepting or else I wouldn't be talking to you today <3

There are 10 questions and I have to tag 5 nail blogger to do this tag although I am not up to date who has or hasn't done this tag on my blog feed. So I just tag all of you who read this blog. 5 more until 50 <3 Thank you all so very much.

Let's get to it

 Here are the rules
1.  Answer 10 questions
2.  Pass this tag to 5 bloggers
3.  Make sure that the bloggers you tagged know about this.

Here are the questions:
1. How many polishes do you have?

2. What is your favorite brand of nail polish?

3. Do you like crackle nail polish, or do you hate it?

4. What is your first nail polish brand?

5. If you're going to have a nail polish line, what are you gonna name it?

6. What nail polish color does not compliment you?

7. What color does compliment you?

8. Name two of your best nail art friends.

9. What was the best nail polish gift you have ever received?

10. Make a speech about thanking the blogger who tagged you.

Here are the answers:
1. I have roughly around 250 to 300 polishes

2. My favorite brands would be OPI, China Glaze, and Wet N' Wild

3. I own around 6 to 10 and I like them but I wouldn't say I am in love.

4. My first nail polish brand was either Wet N' Wild or some off brand when I was a little kid.

5. I actually don't know what I would name my own polish company, This always stumps me.

6. I don't think gold compliments me.

7. I think pinks compliment me really well, that is why I have a lot of pinks, purples, and reds.

8. Gina from soguesswhat11 from youtube and Andrea from Plasmaspeedo on youtube.

9. I haven't ever received nail polish as a gift before.

10. I actually don't know Thalie very much but I am glad she tagged me and I hope to become really good friends with her because she is really great. I have read a lot of what she has posted and support everything she does. I want to thank you Thalie!!!

Mix and Match: Nails, Makeup, and Hair #1

Hello Lacquered Lovelies, Makeup Junkies. and Hair Fanatics,
I am starting this new type of post when I want to show you more than just my hair or nails.

Today I am going to see someone in an institute that doesn't allow jewelry or flashy clothing.I am sure they won't really allow a lot of makeup so I kept it very simple today. Kind of like a pin up style without being too bold. A very tiny amount of black eyeliner and mascara with some gloss and I am ready.

I used Almay Nearly Naked Makeup in Buff, Wet N' Wild Liquid Eyeliner in Black, L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes in Black, and Revlon's Cherries In The Glow.

For my nails I did some classic red with the tiniest amount of bling to my ring finger. This makes me able to wear this without them being too harsh on what I am wearing.

I used two coats of OPI's O'Hare and Nails Look Great. Then on my ring finger I added a coat of Northern Lights by INM.

For my hair I just put it up in a small little poof from my bangs. I may or may not keep it like this since the thing holding it back is a bobby pin.

Anyway I hope you liked this post, I know I am going to. There will be another one up tomorrow since I am going out to lunch with my mom and nana.

Enjoy yourself

Seche Vite vs. Out the Door.

Dear Lacquered Lovelies,
This is going to be my post on what top coat I think is better. I am going to compare and contrast each top coat. Find the flaws, the goods, the bads, and the uglies.

I am going to start with drying time then I am going to talk about shrinkage, wear time, shine, and price. Please take into consideration that this is my opinion and everyone is intitled to one. Yours may be different than mine. You may not like any of these top coats if you try them.

Drying time is amazing with both polishes. I notice more with Seche that I can touch it almost instantly without it smudging which is great for me because I like to be able to do things once I have my nails done. With OTD if I touch my nails after I paint it (give it like half of a minute or a minute) it is still wet and will ripple the polish. SV will be completely dry in about 2 to 5 minutes which is great for anyone who is on a time schedule. OTD takes a little longer like 5 to 10 minutes which is still great since there are other top coats that take longer. I also notice little scratches and indents in OTD the next day or a few hours after I apply it. I make sure that I am really careful when wearing it, not to touch my nails on anything or it will retain little marks.

Shrinkage is something that SV is notorious for.shrinking at the tips of the nails or even around the cuticle area. OTD hasn't ever given me problems with shrinkage but I have heard someone say they have. I actually don't mine the shrinkage because it acts as a force field for my nails. I also change my nails within a day or a few.

Wear time with both of these polishes is great. I was able to wear SV for a week straight with very minimal wear, a little chips at the tips. I notice that if I try to peel the nail polish off it will pull the top coat off but leave the polish underneath. With OTD I was able to wear it for 3 to 4 days which is better for a top coat for me since I tend to be tough on my nails and I have a problem with chipping. I also usually change my nails every day or every few days.

SV wins the shine factor here, no doubt about that. OTD is a little more dull and I am not sure if it is because it doesn't dry as fast as SV. I would say that OTD is right behind it. I think it is because SV is a thicker formula than OTD.

Price for SV can range from $5 to $10, you have to be willing to search for a good deal and when you do I would say stock up when it is under $6 or in a pack. OTD is usually under $7 at all times unless you are buying the Northern Lights which is the same top coat only will small holographic silver or golden glitters. I own the silver NL and have compared it to the regular and it is the same.

Other things you might want to know. SV has Toluene which is a harmful chemical that can cause birth defects or other reproductive issues, so use with caution. I have no problem using it because I don't plan on having children anytime soon or ever for that matter. OTD's sticker makes it really hard to see how much product you have left, this can be rectified by taking the sticker off, who needs it anyway? The bottles are the same in fact if they didn't have tags I would only know the other one from the other because of the logos on the top.

For the base color I am wearing Essie's Case Study which is brown taupe-y greige color. I actually don't own this, I painted my nails at WalMart to see if I would like it, I DO!!! I have SV on my pinkie and my middle finger. I have OTD on my ring and index fingers.

Funny thing is, I actually love both but Seche Vite is a little higher up in ranking. I will continue to wear Out The Door because it is a good top coat. Psst.... Rihanna's Photographs is a really good song been listening to it will I type this out.

Thanks for reading. Please feel free to comment and follow me :) Have a really good day

Enjoy yourself
XOXO

Pam's Makeup Storage/Collection.

Hello Lacquered Lovelies and Makeup Freaks,
As most of you know I am not only passionate about nails but also makeup. Without makeup I am sure that I wouldn't have gotten into nails. I have done very few makeup posts on my blog because I am not sure if that is something you all like. Maybe I will make another blog dedicated to makeup only.... Maybe? Or if you guys are into that I will keep posting them here.

Today I am going to show you how I store my makeup and kind of tell a little bit around the brands and items that I have and why I organize my makeup the way I do.

First off my makeup all fits into a 5 drawer organizer that is from Sterlite, I believe this was around $5. I know I went back to the store and check the price not too long ago and it was $10. I have split mine into a group of three and two. Three drawers are on top of my nightstand and two are in the little cubby. Under the group of three I added a black board to make the top of the nightstand bigger because without it the surface of the nightstand is about a third of the size.

What is on the left side of the top
What is on the right side.
The first three drawers hold things that I grab for more than anything. This includes foundations, powders, eyeshadows, mascara, and eyeliners. On top of the storage drawers I have a container that I keep my brushes in, my mirror, and a few hair items.  Along the left side of my drawers I keep my Naked palette, lotion, brush cleanser (homemade I can make a post about it if you all would like), perfumes (not from Bath and Body Works), and a festive candle. On the right side I have all of my Bath and Body Works body splashes, another candle, and a lip tin. If you want a perfume collection please just tell me.

In the first drawer I have moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer, and powders.
-Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion
-Rimmel Fix and Prefect Primer
-L'Oreal True Match Foundations in W1 and W3
-Almay Foundation
-Benefits Erase Paste in #2
-Maybelline powders

In the second drawer I have eyeshadow bases and eyeshadows. I am not going to go into depth about these but I will say brands.
-Wet N' Wild Trios and Palettes
-ELF Quads, Pigments, and Palettes
-Maybelline Quads
-Essence Duo
-Benefits RSVP Creaseless Cream Shadow and Liner.
-Revlon

In the third drawer I have eyeliners, mascaras, eye primers, glitters, eyelashes, and glue. Again I am not going to go into depth with what colors or details.
-Revlon
-L'Oreal
-Maybelline
-Wet N' Wild
-Sally Girl
-NYX
-DUO

Then in the second part is things I don't grab for often but I want to keep them to use later on or when I am feeling on wearing these items. On the left side of that I keep my hair sprays, smaller Bath and Body Works Lotions and Sprays, and bulkier makeup like Revlon Mineral Powder and L'Oreal Blushes and Powders. If you want a Bath and Body Works Collection Post please just tell me.

In the first drawer I have lip products this includes a chapstick, lipstick and lipglosses. I am not going to into depth about these but I will say the brands.
-Liplicious
-Revlon
-Maybelline
-Wet N' Wild
-NYC
-Sally Hansen

In the second drawer I have random things. Things that don't fit somewhere else in the collection or bigger things that I don't use as much.
-ELF Blush and Bronzing Duo
-ELF Blotting Paper
-Wet N' Wild Blush
-Wet N' Wild Mega Glow
-LA Colors eyeshadow
-Revlon Eyeshadow
-Extra foundation

As for my brushes I have Sigma brushes, I actually got mine for free through Luuux. I have some ELF eyeshadow brushes and the brush from the Naked Palette.I actually don't use all of the brushes.

Well that is it for now I might get more makeup in the future but as of right now I think I have what I need. There are things I would like but I am content. I want more high end stuff because I only have a few things.

Thanks for reading.

Penguinish Pink Wednesday :)

Hello Lacquered Lovelies,
I saw a post from The Big Bad Wolf post on Penquins, I knew I had to do this design. She did hers on all of her nails and I thought this is Pink Wednesday so I had to incorporate pink somehow.

A while back I did a post about the Revlon Glitters. Starry ink is a lilac toned pink with small round and large hex silver glitter. For my nails I made a bling finger out of my penguin and then the other nails got two coats of Starry Pink. At first I wanted to stamp on this nail polish but I actually have been wearing this polish since yesterday and just added the penguin today, when I tried stamping yesterday it totally ruined the nail polish. It took this nail polish FOREVER to dry even with a top coat. So I just left it alone.

For the accent nail I painted the nail with the Starry Pink yesterday but I painted black acrylic paint over it. Then I added an egg shaped circle in white on the bottom of my nail and then with the end of a brush I dotted two circles above the egg shape. Then in the center of that I added two smaller black dots. Finishing up I added three small yellow triangles, one under the eyes and two at the base of the egg shape. I made a drawing below to show you how to do it step by step.
Haha don't make fun of my drawing.

Anyway that is about it. I can't wait until after Christmas to show you a gift that I got yesterday that I am totally excited for. It is going to make blogging and nail art/ anything related sooooo much easier. Expect a new collection post in about a month or two since I am doing a new collection post every 6 months.

Just expect that the day after Christmas.... Not to brag or anything.

Ohhhh 10 more followers until 50 followers.I think I am going to try to do a 50 Follower Giveaway but I am not sure. What would you like to see in a giveaway I already have 2 items.

Enjoy yourself

Holiday Gift Guide On A Budget

Hello Lacquered Lovelies and everyone else,
Today I am going to show you a holiday gift guide for those of us who don't have a lot of money. We all know how hard it is for to shop for other people when you are on a budget. I am going to show you a few gift ideas that would be great for those of you who are on a budget.

*Note any of these products can be swapped out for less expensive items or even more expensive items. It is all up to your budget*

Gender Neutral
  • A set of gloves, a scarf, and ear muffs. You can personalize colors, textures, or even patterns depending on who you are getting this for. I am sure that anyone will love this idea.
  • Fleece pajama bottoms or pajama sets. Again you can personalize it to fit each persons style. I have gotten this a couple of times within the last couple of Christmases.
  • Chocolate or Holiday Candy or Cookies.
  • Home baked goods this is a good way to show your love by baking people in your family something truly personalized.
Female
1.) Spa Gift Sets, you can buy these pre-made or you can put these together yourself. Idea- Shower caddy filled with items such as soft socks, a festive Holiday scented perfume, Holiday scented lotion, Holiday scented hand sanitizer, and a Holiday scented candle. I used purple as my main color in this gift set. You can use tissue paper or fabric to fill the bottom in this case I used a piece of purple fabric. Then I used two pairs of soft purple socks, I actually got these two years ago as a gift but I don't really like things around my ankles, do they make ankle high (no show) fuzzy socks? Then I had last years Twisted Peppermint body spray from Bath and Body Works, I actually don't own a Holiday scented lotion so I just used something I did have which is PS I Love You by Bath and Body Works. Holiday Lipgloss- Winter Candy Apple and C.O. Bigelow Cinnamon. Finally I added a Glade Candle in Sugar Plum Fantasies which was also from last years Christmas Collection.

2.) Sweater, pants, and sock gift set. Like above you can buy these already made for you or you can put them together yourself. Here I made a set with a shower caddy filled with a sweater, sweat pants, and fuzzy socks. I used Terry Cloth sweat pants and a Terry Cloth sweater and wrapped the two together. Then I used the same set of socks from the first set. You can personalize this to fit anybodies style.

3.) Makeup Gift Set. Here I used a plastic container and put items such as blush, eye primer, eyeshadow, mascara, kohl eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, chap stick, lipstick, lip gloss and blotting paper. You can add a blush brush and eyeshadow brush  in the center, then when you are done with that I would take a couple of pieces of clear colored Christmas wrapping paper and put the plastic box in the center. Gathering the edges and pulling them over the gift making a little "bag", then add some ribbon around the top to seal it all together. I used ELF Blush and Bronzing Duo, ELF Eyelid Primer, ELF Eyeshadow quad- Drama, ELF Mascara, ELF Eyeliner, Wet N' Wild Mega Liner, EOS lip balm in Lemon Drop, Wet N' Wild Mega Shine Lipstick, ELF 2-in-1 Lipgloss, and ELF Blotting Paper. ELF also makes a really good angled blush brush and an eyeshadow brush. All of these items are under $7

4.) Nail Polish Gift Sets. You will need a glass container, I used a square one. Inside I filled the bottom up with cotton balls. I picked two nail polishes and one top coat. Behind that I put an orange stick, nail file, cuticle removers, cuticle removing gel, cuticle salve, and a brush. I used OPI's Keys To My Karma (red), OPI's Black Shatter ( I could see a silver or gold in its place but I wanted to use the same brand), Seche Vite, and I put Sally Hansens Gel Cuticle Remover in there. The brush is to help with cleaning up. When all of these items are taken out the person who received this gift could use the container as a water marble container. I would suggest a card describing what all of the items are used for and how to water marble. If you got a bigger container you could add more items into it. As above you could use the same wrapping style. I would love to receive this with three Deborah Lippmann polishes instead of the two polishes and top coats.

5.) Another Nail Gift Set. You can use the same type of container as above. In this one I should have filled the bottom with cotton balls as I did with the last one. In fact if I was giving someone this I would just give them this set and the one above. In this set I put the Salon Express Stamping Kit that I just reviewed. Then I added a rhinestone wheel and a polish that I have been using for stamping this polish is a striping brush polish. This kit is great for anyone who wants to try stamping but isn't sure they will like it because there is only 5 plates. I would love to receive this gift set without the stamper and scraper and the plates could be replaced with two Bundle Monster sets

Men
Now I am not an expert on what men would like to receive but I know what I am going to give some of the men in my family this year. I don't have pictures of these or else I would show you! Sorry.
1.) A Cologne Gift Set, personally I would buy these because I am pretty sure they don't want anything like the fuzzy socks LOL. If you were to get them something like this and wanted to personalize it then you could do the same as the SPA set for the females. Put all of the items in a shower caddie and add something else like a men's AXE or some other loofah. Maybe a razor and shaving gel.

2.) Movies, you can never go wrong with movies. I would say ask the people around the certain guy if they could snoop around and see if this person doesn't have the certain movie(s) that you are planning on getting them. Then once you know they don't have the movie(s) you wanted to get them go out and buy it. I would add a bag of popcorn and some candy and wrap them together. Then on top of the gift tape two or more movie tickets to the gift wrapping or place these inside of a card. You can skip this set as well.

3.)Books. Like above you can just buy him a few and then attach a gift card to a book store. Same as above you can skip the gift card step. Or if you wanted to you could get him a nice sweater and inside of the sweater you could wrap the book up.

4.) This could be tied into the two previous ideas but  buying the guy a CD and a set of head phones. The way I would wrap these is kind of making the ribbons out of the headphones but not really putting them in harm.

Kids
I don't have any kinds of my own but I am an aunt and my boyfriend is an uncle. Kids are apart of our family. I am not sure how to present these presents.

1.) Toy Cars
2.) Legos
3.) Video Games
4.) Books

Girls
1.) Barbies
2.) Zoo Zoo Pets/Littlest Pet Shop
3.) Video Games

Like I said some of these things can be substituted to fit your price range. Below are some ideas for people who rather just buy things and not have to go into details about each gift.
